Adenoid cystic carcinoma – A rare kind of cancer

Adenoid cystic carcinoma is the rarest kind of cancer that usually occurs in the saliva glands under your tongue, each side of the jaw, and below the jawbone. This rare kind of cancer can also occur in the other parts of the mouth, throat, and other areas of the body, like the tear gland and the sweat gland. Very few people are affected by this type of cancer due to which it is very rarely found. This type of cancer is most common in women; then the men ad could happen at any age between teens till the old age.

The most common symptoms of Adenoid cystic carcinoma is the lump inside the mouth or under the tongue or inside the cheek.
